TheAetna IT Delivery team, part ofCVS Health’s Data, Digital, Analytics, and Technology (DDAT) organization, is seeking aStaff Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our QA delivery efforts for ourConversational AI platform , helping members get answers to health insurance questions through their preferred channels. Position Summary
Seeks opportunities to improve quality assurance processes and methodologies, implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement.
Conducts risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern in software development operations and prioritizes testing efforts accordingly.
Establishes quality metrics, collects relevant data, and prepares reports that measure and communicate the effectiveness of the quality assurance process.
Ensures that software products comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols.
Develops comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts and actively participates in the testing process to ensure thorough testing of software products.
Identifies, tracks, and manages defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring that issues are appropriately addressed.
Collaborate with shared services team on test automation efforts, developing automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
Provides training and mentorship to quality assurance engineers, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
Identify opportunities for quality assurance processes to seamlessly integrate into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline, promoting continuous testing and deployment.
Required Qualifications
7+ years in the software industry performing a Lead Quality Assurance Lead role, as well as hands on experience creating test plans, test cases, tracking defects, reporting status to various levels in the organization
2+ years' experience testing Natural language speech recognition, conversational AI and cognitive solutions, or similar consumer solutions.
2+ years' experience with automated test tools including Hammer On Demand (voice) and Selenium or Playwright for (chat)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing IBM Watson Assistant Voice & Chat Bots
Familiar testing language models, text to speech, speech to text
Familiarity with leveraging Postman or SoapUI for API testing
Experience working in SAFe / Agile methodology
Understanding of Rally for project and test management
Knowledge and experience testing software applications within the Healthcare industry
Experience interpreting dialog flows in Lucid Chart and/or Visio
Education
Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$106,605.00 - $213,210.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
