Job summary

Empower Pharmacy in Houston is seeking a Staff QA Automation Engineer to own the enterprise automation strategy and quality engineering standards across UI, API, and performance testing. You will lead architecture, governance, and multi-year roadmaps for scalable automation platforms within a highly regulated 503A/503B environment.

Leverage AI-assisted testing, predictive analytics, and modern tooling to accelerate delivery, improve reliability, and drive data-driven quality decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Twelve (12) or more years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, test automation, quality engineering, or software development in test, including enterprise automation strategy.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise automation frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Own the automation framework architecture, governance, and multi-year roadmap for enterprise automation ecosystem.
• Define automation architecture and QA strategy for new platforms and initiatives.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging automation technologies, including AI-assisted testing and self-healing automation.
