Job summary

iA (Innovation Associates) seeks a Software Test Engineer to ensure reliability of pharmacy automation software. You will design, execute, and improve test approaches, collaborating with engineers, product teams, and domain experts to translate real workflows into robust test coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in software support, software testing, or training; experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Test Automation experience is preferred
• Ability to travel 50% including extended overnights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Define comprehensive, reusable test plans for software.
• Assemble test data and conditions to validate test plans.
• Understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Execute and document results of test plans and deviations.
• Execute, maintain and enhance provided Test Automation scripts/processes.
• Identify and document expected results and communicate with engineering staff.
• Assist investigation and resolution of reported issues.
• Participate in software development design phase for testing needs.
• Identify and execute appropriate regression test cases; ensure changes don’t impact other components.
• Update test plans for new features and components.
• Accurately estimate task completion times.
• Travel to customer sites for testing and maintenance up to two weeks at a time.
• Present new features and defect fixes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate to improve testing practices and quality processes.
• Occasionally provide On-Call Support.
• Work with Automation team to prepare regression and release test cases for automation.
