Arch Systems seeks a senior backend engineer to design and deliver Python-based features for a large-scale SaaS backend, and to own a synchronization/reconciliation engine for edge and cloud consistency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development with Python and Django.
• Experience with large, complex backend SaaS applications.
• Strong skills in modeling complex data systems and delivering scalable solutions.

Scope of Engagement:

• Design and deliver backend features in Python for large-scale enterprise SaaS.
• Own a sync and reconciliation engine for distributed edge clients and cloud consistency.
• Build APIs reliable and fast enough to power latency-sensitive operational UIs.

Engagement Terms:

• This is an independent contractor (B2B) engagement, not an offer of employment.
• The annualised contract rate is USD $120,000 – $140,000.
• Open to contractors based in Eastern Europe with remote-first work.
