Job summary

ContractStaffingRecruiters.com is seeking a full stack engineer/developer for projects emphasizing big data and application monitoring and development in Branford, CT. This role ensures performance, reliability, and availability of two critical applications powering our client’s supply chain and planning operations.

You will monitor workflows, deliver enhancements and fixes, design database objects, analyze issues in real time, and collaborate with customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring of application performance, integrations, and workflows to maintain system stability and enable early detection of issues.
• Deliver approved enhancements, configuration updates, and defect fixes to maintain and improve current application functionality.
• Design and develop database objects, tables, stored procedures, views, etc. as needed.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Understand the concept of Data marts and Data lakes and experience with migrating legacy systems to data marts/lake.
• Use additional cloud technologies (e.g., understand concept of Cloud services like Azure SQL server).
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Aptitude to learn new technologies and the ability to perform continuous research, analysis, and process improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in a team environment with customer and contractor technical staff, end users, and management team members.
• Manage multiple projects, responsibilities and competing priorities.
