The Maimonides Cancer Center in Brooklyn is looking to hire a full time Psychologist to join its Behavioral Health/Cancer Supportive Services team to provide consultation, evaluation, & treatment of adult and pediatric cancer patients from diverse backgrounds. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team which includes the center Psychiatrist and Social Workers as well as with medical team members including: Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants, Nurses, a Dietitian, and a Palliative Care Physician. Strong consideration will be given to those with prior interdisciplinary team and health psychology experience.
This position is entirely located in the outpatient cancer center and is an 1199 Union position and involves teaching/supervision of psychology interns and psychiatric residents. Psychologists attend continuing education seminars and benefit from other professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
Salary: $67.11 - $83.83 per hour.
