  • Lead the development and own the balance‑of‑plant design package, including site civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and network architecture designs, ensuring compliance with project and product requirements and other applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards.

  • Provide technical support during project execution, including reviewing RFIs, submittals, field quality checks, site safety planning, and supporting commissioning.

  • Support Project Manager from initial planning to commercial operation, especially with document control, budget oversight, quality control, schedule, contract management and value engineering for budget and schedule optimization.

  • Work closely with Form’s Product Engineering and Product Management teams to document product requirements and technical specifications.

  • Travel to client or project sites up to 30% of the time.

What you’ll bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in renewable energy project engineering or deployment and a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering.

  • Demonstrated track record of executing utility‑scale energy storage and/or renewable energy projects from development to operation, including feasibility studies, project planning, preliminary design, detailed design and engineering, permitting, and interconnection.

  • Strong knowledge of codes and standards for ESS installation, including NFPA70, NFPA 855, IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, UL9540, UL9540A.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and the ability to coordinate and engage with external stakeholders, including clients, owner’s engineers, EPC contractors, independent engineers, and AHJs.
