Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group in Naperville, IL, is seeking a Staff/Project Civil Engineer with 2–5 years of experience for our Naperville office. The role focuses on fast-paced land development projects and autonomous, client‑focused service.

Responsibilities include site planning with Civil3D, stormwater and sewer design, and permit management across municipalities and DOTs. A BS in Civil Engineering and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D/Excel are required; EIT/PE is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and MS Excel.
• Professional license is a plus (EIT or PE).

Responsibilities

• Work on commercial and industrial land development projects.
• Collaborate with staff, subconsultants and clients.
• Prepare site plans using Civil 3D and other software.
• Design stormwater detention and sewer systems.
• Manage permits with municipalities and transportation authorities.
• Maintain key client relationships and meet deadlines.
