Job description

Strength in Trust

OneTrust’s mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. We believe that ensuring data is trusted shouldn’t slow teams down—it should accelerate what’s possible. This led us to develop the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016. Today, with AI representing the latest and most impactful expansion of data yet, OneTrust is once again redefining what responsible innovation looks like. OneTrust, the AI-Ready Governance Platform™, unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows so businesses can continue to move at the speed of AI while ensuring good governance to prevent data misuse at scale. Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, OneTrust is shaping the future where trusted data becomes a transformative force for business and society.

The Challenge

We’re looking for a Staff Product Specialist with deep knowledge of AI Governance Solutions, Responsible AI, and Enterprise AI Adoption to join our R&D, Customer Engineering team, and lead the AI Governance Initiatives within the Design Partner Program. This is a highly strategic customer-facing role responsible for partnering with some of OneTrust's most innovative and influential customers as they operationalize AI Governance at enterprise scale. The Staff Product Specialist serves as the bridge between Customers, Product Management, Engineering, and Executive Leadership. You will work directly with AI leaders, governance teams, privacy officers, legal stakeholders, and engineering organizations to understand emerging AI risks, adoption barriers, governance requirements, and business objectives. Your mission is to transform these insights into product strategy, platform capabilities, and roadmap investments that shape the future of OneTrust's AI Governance portfolio. Success in this role means helping customers govern AI with confidence while accelerating market adoption, influencing product direction, and ensuring OneTrust remains the trusted platform for responsible AI at enterprise scale.

Your Mission
  • Define the AI Governance Vision: Establish the long-term product vision, capability strategy, and roadmap priorities for AI Governance, Responsible AI, AI Risk Management, and AI Compliance solutions. Translate emerging regulations, industry standards, and customer demands into scalable product investments. Partner with executive leadership to shape how OneTrust enables trusted AI adoption across the enterprise.
  • Be the Voice of the Customer: Serve as the primary AI Governance advocate for strategic Design Partner customers. Lead customer discovery sessions to understand AI deployment challenges, governance maturity, risk concerns, and operational requirements. Convert customer feedback, adoption challenges, and market signals into actionable product recommendations.
  • Drive Responsible AI Innovation: Guide the evolution of capabilities across AI inventories, AI assessments, AI risk management, AI governance workflows, model oversight, AI policy management, and regulatory compliance. Ensure products help organizations operationalize responsible AI principles while maintaining business agility and innovation. Define governance patterns that balance risk mitigation, transparency, accountability, and AI adoption.
  • Influence Product & Engineering Execution: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and Design teams to prioritize investments and accelerate delivery. Validate product direction through customer engagement, design-partner programs, and early-access initiatives. Drive measurable improvements in product quality, adoption, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
  • Lead the AI Governance Community: Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders on responsible AI, AI regulations, governance frameworks, and industry best practices. Represent the voice of customers during roadmap discussions, executive reviews, and strategic planning exercises. Influence market perception through thought leadership, customer advocacy, and strategic customer relationships.
  • Measure Business Impact: Own business outcomes tied to AI Governance adoption, customer value realization, risk reduction, compliance readiness, and customer expansion opportunities. Establish success metrics that connect product investments to customer outcomes and long-term platform growth. Drive customer success through measurable improvements in AI governance maturity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications / Experience
  • 8+ years of product management, product strategy, solutions consulting, or technical product leadership experience in enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Significant experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, AI Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Data Governance, or related domains.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers to define requirements, prioritize investments, and drive product adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy through customer insights, market analysis, and business impact assessments.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, evaluation frameworks, and governance considerations associated with enterprise AI deployments.
  • Experience translating regulatory requirements and governance frameworks into product capabilities and operational workflows.
  • Proven ability to work across Product Management, Engineering, UX, Legal, Privacy, Security, and Go-To-Market functions.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and customer presentation skills.
  • Experience with Design Partner Programs, Voice of Customer initiatives, Customer Advisory Boards, or Early Access Programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI regulations and frameworks such as EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, model governance frameworks, and responsible AI principles preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance product vision with execution, delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
