Job summary

Adobe in New York seeks a Staff Product Security Engineer to own the security posture of our most complex products. You will translate security signals into prioritized guidance for product and engineering teams, and drive threat modeling, design reviews, and secure release activities with autonomy.

You will partner with TSPM, track assets and findings, mentor engineers, and share expertise on AI/ML threats while delivering actionable security guidance across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Application or Product Security and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Demonstrable history of building end-to-end security solutions adopted across multiple engineering teams and translating product context into prioritized, actionable security guidance.
• Proven ability to threat model complex, distributed, and AI/ML systems and make risk-based decisions under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for a portfolio of Adobe's most complex and highest-value products, owning evaluation and communication of the product's security posture.
• Lead security design reviews and threat modeling for major releases, platform-level development, and new products or services.
• Synthesize security signals into top priorities per product and direct security activities for successful releases, integrating security into release readiness processes.
• Identify systemic risk patterns across your portfolio and build mitigations and reusable security frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers, sharing knowledge through tech talks, blogs, and conferences.
• Contribute to the Security organization's roadmap through research and POC on emerging threats in AI/ML and agentic systems.
