Job description

Cribl does things differently.

What does that mean? It means we are a serious company that doesn’t take itself too seriously; and we’re looking for people who love to get stuff done, and laugh a bit along the way. We’re growing rapidly — seeking collaborative, curious, and motivated team members who are passionate about putting customers first. As a remote-first company, we believe in empowering our employees to do their best work, wherever they are.

As the data engine for IT and Security, many of the biggest names in demanding industries trust Cribl to solve their most pressing data needs. Ready to do the best work of your career? Join the herd and unlock your opportunity.

Why You'll Love This Role

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager - Search to own and manage our Search in-place dataset providers. In this senior individual contributor role, you will play a key part in driving the vision and effective delivery of development and sales. Your focus will be on collecting customer and partner feedback, prioritizing feature requests and bugs, and enabling successful delivery of customer use cases. You will also work with marketing and the field to enable technical training, new product features and launches, and new customer value messaging.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will...

  • Present roadmaps and investigate use cases with customers and partners
  • Triage and prioritize incoming feature requests, bug reports, and project ideas
  • Maintain development team backlog in light of company strategy and team goals
  • Maintain status visibility with leadership and stakeholders across the company
  • Understand and communicate the fiscal cost-benefit and license impact of specific integrations
  • Work with marketing and customer success to establish clear "golden path" use cases and enable the field with these materials
  • Develop and deliver public resources (videos, blogs, talks) supporting the product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fill gaps in product offering or enablement
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of integrations through product metrics and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Search integrations, providing proactive assistance and expertise to elevate team performance
  • We are a remote-first company and work across many time zones; you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours
If You've Got It - We Want It

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or a related role, focusing on big data system integrations
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing Technical Sales role, preferably in enterprise SaaS, with strong familiarity in IT telemetry and observability
  • Proven ability to manage delivery and maintenance of complex data integration systems that drive measurable outcomes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple programs and priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to translate business requirements and technical concepts into actionable requirements
  • Experience collaborating across departments including Sales, Product, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success
  • Familiarity with enterprise development platforms and tools (e.g., Atlassian suite)
  • Experience with a free Cribl sandbox
  • Self-starter with a strategic mindset, attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement
Salary Range ($190,000 - $215,000)

The salary depends on geographic location and individual experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl offers a benefits package including health, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, paid holidays and time off, fertility benefits, 401(k), equity, and potential bonuses.
