Confluent Inc. is hiring a Staff Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the core streaming analytics engine powering real-time data platforms.

You will shape a new product category at the intersection of streaming analytics and modern databases, collaborating with engineering, design, and senior leadership to bring it to market. You will define metrics, pricing, and architecture tradeoffs, and work with teams delivering AI-ready, low-latency, materialized views used by

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management or related technical roles.
• 5+ years taking infrastructure or data products from conception to launch.
• Deep familiarity with real-time analytics, databases, or streaming platforms.
• Experience defining and launching data infrastructure/analytics products.
• Strong judgment navigating distributed systems tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the streaming analytics engine.
• Define success metrics, pricing, and cost models for the product area.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and leadership to bring the product to market.
• Partner with PMs owning downstream experiences to ensure engine needs are met.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with executive-level visibility.
