Qualifications

• Must be passionate about design details and physician/customer experience with medical technology.
• 10+ years of professional experience; 5+ years in medical device product management and product marketing.
• Experience defining and managing market and product requirements for medical devices.
• Develop strong commercial/KOL partnerships to inform a value-driven portfolio narrative.
• Excellent communication and presentations to senior management and customers.
• Self-starter; able to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks smoothly.
• Agility to pivot focus to evolving sales and customer needs.
• Proven ability to work across org boundaries to deliver results.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Tableau, SFDC and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to work in surgical labs and hospital patient care areas; travel up to 30%.
• Located at Intuitive Headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.

Responsibilities

• Drive the product roadmap with Desirability and Feasibility emphasis; align with long-term priorities.
• Develop deep understanding of clinical spaces; review literature, attend meetings, engage with KOLs.
• Understand market-leading and emerging technologies and their impact on Intuitive’s lines.
• Conduct market research; direct customer interviews and observations to inform roadmaps.
• Propose next-generation products and services; articulate unmet needs and evaluate solutions.
• Cross-functionally manage projects through market and product requirements.
• Negotiate tradeoffs and align cross-functional stakeholders; support pricing research.
• Facilitate tradeoff discussions with design teams; maintain customer/business focus.
• Establish product positioning, messaging, and market research for pricing.
• Ensure smooth global product rollout; lead cross-functional rollout teams for worldwide launches.
• Measure success via adoption and post-launch feedback; collaborate on global launches and commercialization.
