Staff Product Manager, Moderators Empowerment

Team Description:

The Mods team is responsible for helping communities thrive on Reddit. The Mods Empowerment team ensures mod incentives align with Reddit’s goals, motivating moderators to adopt new features and welcome users, while providing insights and guidance for community growth.

Role Description:

We’re looking for a Staff PM to lead our Mods Empowerment team, owning the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, and driving end-to-end product development. This role is crucial to growing Reddit and supporting moderators, requiring an expert understanding of their challenges and opportunities.

This product leader will define and own top-line KPIs for the Mods org, collaborating closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners across engineering, design, product, data, community, and marketing to create an amazing experience for Reddit Mods.

Responsibilities:

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Mods Empowerment team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Understand the needs of Reddit Mods and design features to support their success.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other PMs to develop new features and drive execution.
• Analyze feature and experiment results, communicating learnings to the team and executives.
• Work with internal business, GTM, operations, and partnerships teams to launch and maintain impactful features.
• Conduct market and usability research to identify opportunities and develop strategy.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including leading 0-1 products.
• Proven experience in setting and achieving an ambitious product vision and building impactful product roadmaps.
• Experience shipping B2C/Consumer/ML products with meaningful impact on business metrics and user experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in SQL as a strong asset.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and defining success metrics.
• Adept in writing detailed product execution and strategy documents with clarity.
• Compelling influencer with great communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Transparency:

This job posting may span more than one career level. In addition to base salary, this job is eligible for equity in the form of restricted stock units, and may also include a commission. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, generous time off, and parental leave.

The base pay range for this position is: $217,000 - $303,900 USD.
