Job summary

Zscaler in San Jose, CA is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Data Security capabilities within our cloud security platform. This hybrid role is three days onsite and reports to the Director, Product Management.

You will partner with Engineering, UX, Support, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to translate market insights into deliverables, drive go-to-market plans, and support deployments across beta and production environments.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI‑driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain.
• 5+ years of product management experience delivering Cyber Security solutions
• Proven experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data classification products with understanding of legacy tools and modern AI‑based classification methods
• Strong technical foundation in Data Security, Email, Proxy, CASB, DSPM & adjacent technologies
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills with the ability to operate across technical and business stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Data Security products, including Web DLP and Email DLP
• Define, document, and prioritize product requirements using market research, competitive insights, and customer feedback
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, Support, Operations, Sales, Marketing) to take ideas from concept to successful delivery

Role

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid, based in San Jose, CA (3 days onsite) role, reporting to the Director, Product Management in the Product Management department. You drive the vision, strategy, and execution for Zscaler’s Data Security capabilities, helping expand a cloud security platform built for innovation, scale, and business enablement.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI‑driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full‑time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$164,000—$205,000 USD
