What you'll do
  • Drive the development and scaling of a Real-Time Event Platform that powers customer experiences, insights, and decision-making across Walmart.
  • Translate complex business needs into scalable, event-driven platform requirements by serving as the key interface between engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and Compliance teams to deliver real-time data products that generate measurable business value.
  • Partner with internal teams such as Marketing, Connect, Personalization, Walmart Plus, and Identity to prioritize and accelerate adoption of real-time event capabilities for high-impact use cases.
  • Lead initiatives to establish a robust infrastructure for ingesting, enriching, processing, and serving real-time event streams.
  • Deliver APIs and services that provide millisecond access to actionable customer insights.
  • Onboard high-value events from key source systems while ensuring data quality and governance.
  • Build capabilities to unify events across online and in-store channels for a comprehensive view of customer behavior.
  • Develop self-service tools that enable teams to discover and consume real-time events with minimal engineering support.
  • Implement monitoring and observability systems to ensure platform reliability, low latency, and rapid issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards by working closely with Governance, Privacy, and Security teams.
What You'll Bring
  • A strategic mindset with a proven ability to define and execute long-term product visions aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Deep experience in product management, particularly in data platforms, real-time systems, or event-driven architectures.
  • Strong technical fluency and the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and business teams.
  • A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across diverse teams.
  • A passion for enabling real-time personalization, analytics, and decisioning at scale.
  • A track record of delivering high-impact products that drive measurable business outcomes.
