Job summary

Few&Far is seeking a Senior / Staff-level Product Lead to own the core of our technical platform. This foundational role will define what we build, test, and where we focus our efforts, working closely with engineering to push enterprise-scale indexing and data access initiatives.

You will own data access, indexing, data quality, and experimentation, translating findings into a scalable platform that other teams and partners can build on.

Qualifications

• Staff-level or equivalent experience with a track record of owning a core technical product rather than just building features on top of an existing platform.
• Experience building APIs, SDKs, data platforms, infrastructure products, or other tools used by technical audiences.
• Hands-on mindset: writing specifications, analyzing results, setting up experiments, and speaking directly with customers without relying on a large support structure.
• Comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage environment where priorities evolve and the role can develop as the business grows.

My client is tackling one of the biggest challenges in enterprise AI: making organisational data accessible, structured and usable by AI systems.

Enterprises are investing heavily in AI, but many initiatives struggle because the right context is difficult to access efficiently. We’re building an enterprise data infrastructure platform that connects to these systems and provides the access and indexing foundations needed for accurate, efficient information retrieval.

We’re an early-stage company with a small, ambitious team. The product will evolve significantly over the coming year, but the core focus remains building the foundational infrastructure that everything else will depend on.

The role

We’re hiring a Senior / Staff-level Product Lead to own the core of our technical platform.

This is a foundational product role, not a feature-focused position. You’ll lead product for a core team of fewer than 15 people, defining what we build, what we test, and where we focus our efforts.

You’ll work closely with engineering and spend significant time experimenting with different data structures, integration approaches and indexing techniques to determine what works at enterprise scale. You’ll then translate those findings into a robust, scalable platform that other teams and partners can build on.

Must have Exp

• Staff-level or equivalent experience: with a track record of owning a core technical product rather than simply building features on top of an existing platform.
• Developer tools experience: Experience building APIs, SDKs, data platforms, infrastructure products or other tools used by technical audiences.
• A hands-on mindset: You’re comfortable writing specifications, analysing results, setting up experiments and speaking directly with customers without relying on a large support structure.
• Comfort with ambiguity: You thrive in an early-stage environment where priorities evolve, responsibilities are broad and the role can develop as the business grows.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise connectors, data integration, search or knowledge graphs.
• Experience with AI agents, retrieval systems or evaluating non-deterministic systems.
• Experience working with or selling to enterprise IT and security teams.
• Previous experience in an early-stage startup.
