Job summary

Reddit is seeking a Staff Product Designer to define foundations across Presence initiatives, shaping architecture for identity, profiles, and community experiences. You will turn ambiguous opportunities into scalable frameworks and create prototypes using AI-assisted design tools to accelerate decisions.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, and senior leaders, mentoring others to advance systems thinking, craft, and AI-native design as Reddit evolves.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of product design experience in consumer technology.
• Strong systems thinking and experience designing platform-level or reusable product experiences.
• Exceptional interaction design, information architecture, and product strategy skills.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing long-term vision with near-term execution.
• Track record of influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong storytelling, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience using AI-assisted design or coding tools to prototype ideas.
• A portfolio demonstrating Staff-level thinking, strong craft, and meaningful impact.

• Mentor designers and help evolve how the team approaches systems thinking, craft, and AI-native design.

What we’re looking for

• 8 to 10+ years of product design experience, including complex, cross-functional work in consumer technology.
