Qualifications

• Portfolio of consumer mobile app or web design samples.
• Experience in a consumer application, product, or software role.
• Desire to strive for excellence and attention to detail.
• Ability to explain work, process, and decisions and seek feedback.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve both the free and paid user experiences across Monetization surfaces within the Duolingo language app.
• Lead on Monetization design team to shape roadmap and development.
• Partner with engineers and product managers on long- and short-term strategy.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to extend the Duolingo design language.
• Tackle both broad concepts and narrowly defined, tactical features.
• Consider copy, animation, and business impact in experiences.
