Linktree is evolving from a link‑in‑bio tool to a control center powering creators and businesses. We seek a Staff designer to lead native mobile craft across iOS and Android, shaping patterns and standards, and partnering with Design Systems and Engineering to bring ideas to production.

You will influence across teams, raise the mobile bar, and drive delivery with a strong user‑focused, creator‑centric mindset.

Qualifications

The Role Linktree is evolving from a link‑in‑bio tool to the place creators and businesses run everything — a control center that helps them understand what’s working across platforms and decide what to do next. Linktree’s users live on their phones, and native mobile is where a huge amount of that value gets delivered: capturing content on the go, staying on top of their audience, getting coached in the moment on how to grow. We’re raising our mobile bar across the whole product, and we need a Staff designer to lead that craft.

Responsibilities

• Set and continually raise the bar for native iOS and Android across the entire product.
• Own the mobile patterns and craft standards that every pillar builds on.
• Go deep where native wins — capture, notifications, on‑the‑go coaching, gestures, performance, and motion.
• Run cross‑pillar mobile reviews so the experience stays coherent as teams ship fast.
• Partner with Design Systems and Engineering to make mobile patterns real in code, and prototype your own ideas to production fidelity.
• Lead through influence — lifting the mobile craft of designers across every pillar.

Qualifications

• Obsessed with deep native mobile craft — fluency with iOS and Android conventions, gestures, motion, and performance‑aware design.
• Significant experience shipping consumer mobile products at scale, across diverse user bases; portfolio reflects this.
• Staff‑level scope: set direction and raise the bar around you, not just ship your own screens.
• Low ego, high collaboration — partner with pillar design leads rather than compete with them, and be energized by raising the mobile craft bar across teams.
• Systems thinking — design patterns that scale across surfaces and teams.
• Influence without authority — make other teams better without managing them.
• AI proficiency as part of your workflow, with depth to advance our practice.
• Sharp product judgment; empathy for creators and the creator economy is a plus.

Linktree is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $200,000–$230,000 in the San Francisco Bay or Los Angeles area. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate expertise, scope of role and level, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
