Résumé du poste

DigitalOcean is seeking a senior product designer to own the end-to-end console experience, shaping the navigation, patterns, and shared surfaces that unify multiple product teams.

You will treat the design system as a product—own the component library, patterns, and standards, and guide their roadmap with engineering. A systems-thinking, senior designer with strong craft across interaction, visual, and information design is ideal.

Qualifications

• Staff-level product design with a proven track record of building and scaling a design system across many products or teams.
• A systems thinker who designs for reuse and consistency at scale across multiple products.
• Strong craft across interaction, visual, and information design with measurable UX impact.

Responsabilités

• Own the end-to-end design of the console experience, from first login through daily workflows for users’ entire experience.
• Treat the design system itself as the product: own the component library, patterns, and standards, and roadmap with engineering.
• Set the craft and quality bar for the whole product suite with a review process to ensure consistency.
• Build reusable, high-leverage patterns to avoid bespoke screens per team.
• Own navigation, onboarding, app shell, and landing pages as reference surfaces for other teams.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs land in the product as intended and uplift UI skills within product teams.
