Role Overview

You will be the founding Designer of a new team, responsible for designing and launching a new product offering on Coinbase.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-end ownership of design for a new Coinbase product offering
2. Design of MVP and future vision concepts including payments, payroll, invoices, etc.
3. Collaborate across Coinbase teams to launch supporting features such as onboarding, multi-user, payment rails, tax, and settings
4. Engage with customers to generate insights and influence strategic decisions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product Design experience
• Strong product thinking, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently
• Proven track record of shipping successful products
• Excellent attention to detail in visual and interaction design, prototyping
• Effective cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools
• Collaborative, open-minded, with a low ego
• Interest in crypto and financial products

Preferred Skills

• Experience in fintech, B2B or consumer
• Experience building on sophisticated product platforms
• Experience with launching new products or startups

Compensation

Pay Range: $207,485 — $244,000 USD. Full-time offers include target bonus, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
