Job summary

Etsy, Inc. is seeking a Staff Designer to lead end-to-end buyer experiences on the Buyer team, shaping strategic product design across discovery, evaluation, and purchase.

You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, analytics, marketing, and product management to define solutions and deliver measurable impact. You will design high-impact, scalable experiences, contribute to the design system, and lead workshops to align vision, requirements, and long-term outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional product design experience, with deep expertise designing native mobile experiences.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills, proven through a portfolio showcasing high-quality UI, end-to-end flows, system thinking, and scalable solutions.
• Proven experience designing complex, high-traffic consumer experiences in areas such as discovery, commerce, or marketplaces.
• Collaboration skills–with a track record of close partnership with engineers to ensure high-quality execution.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence and align diverse collaborators.
• A strategic, proactive mindset—comfortable navigating ambiguity, crafting clarity, and driving initiatives forward independently.
