Job summary

Harvey is seeking a Staff Product Designer to own end-to-end product experiences, from ideation through launch, working closely with engineers, AI researchers, product managers, and lawyers to craft interfaces that guide AI outputs and build trust.

You’ll shape our design system, conduct user research, and develop prototypes while elevating the quality bar in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing digital products in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to transform complex problems into simple, intuitive experiences.
• Strong understanding of design systems and craft.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of end-to-end product experiences from concept through polished execution.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to translate business objectives into user-centered designs.
• Shape and refine the design system to ensure a cohesive visual language across the product.
• Conduct user research to uncover pain points and opportunities, informing design decisions.
• Develop prototypes to explore and validate new features, workflows, and interactions.
• Champion a high design bar and guide the team in AI-assisted design decisions.
