Job summary

Aleph, a remote-first AI-native FP&A platform, seeks an experienced Product Designer in the Americas. You will own design from discovery through delivery, partnering with engineering, CX, and leadership to create a cohesive product experience.

You will stay close to customers, prototype diverse approaches, and craft clear interfaces. A strong portfolio, user empathy, and AI-driven design approach are essential for success at Aleph.

About Aleph

Aleph is an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), an established software category with a multi-billion market but no clear winner. We're trying to solve a problem many finance teams are super familiar with: data scattered across a million systems, endless spreadsheets and way too much time spent getting numbers to line up instead of actually using them to make decisions.

Aleph was founded by Albert Gozzi and Santiago Perez De Rosso, two technical founders with backgrounds from Stanford and MIT and experience working at top-tier companies such as Google, Microsoft and Bain & Company. We're backed by top VCs (Khosla Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, YC, Picus Capital), and work with customers like Webflow, Notion, Zapier, Y Combinator and many others.

We are hiring remotely across the Americas (United States, Canada, LATAM).

Design plays a central role in making that complexity understandable and creating a category defining product.

What you'll do

• Own design from beginning to end. Take responsibility for all design work across your product areas, from customer research and problem definition through implementation, launch, and iteration.

• Shape product direction. Work with your partners including engineering, CX, and the CEO to identify worthwhile problems, explore possibilities, and connect individual releases into a coherent product experience.

• Stay close to customers. Talk directly with users, observe their workflows, test assumptions, and turn what you learn into better product decisions.

• Explore and prototype. Develop different approaches and build realistic prototypes that help the team evaluate behavior, usability, and feasibility.

• Design with care and precision. Create clear, polished interfaces built from a deep understanding of our customers, their workflows, and their pain points. With the goal of creating simple, immediately clear, and delightful product experiences.

• Use AI throughout your work. Make AI a core part of how you research, explore ideas, prototype, and design. Choose the tools and approaches that help you do better work, and use your own judgment to evaluate the results.

• Make the team better. Improve shared design patterns, give useful feedback, communicate decisions clearly, and help your peers produce better work.

What we're looking for

• At least 7 years of exceptional product design work. Your portfolio shows strong product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft in work you've shipped.

• Strong skills across the design process. You can lead research, explore different approaches, build realistic prototypes, deliver detailed designs, and work through implementation details.

• Curiosity about difficult problems. You enjoy learning how complex systems work and finding ways to make them easier for people to understand and use.

• Leadership through the work. You can set direction, make tradeoffs with partners, and improve outcomes across projects. You're comfortable owning decisions and equally comfortable reconsidering them.

• Practical experience working with AI. It is already part of how you design. You can explain where it helps, how you assess the results, and how your approach changes with the task. We welcome different tools and methods.

• Care for your teammates and the finished product. You communicate clearly, give useful feedback, invite critique, and stay involved until the details work.
