Job summary

Wonder is seeking a senior designer to shape AI consumer products across web and mobile. You will own end-to-end design from sketch to production, build design systems, and guide visual language across the product family.

You will report to the VP of Design and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing. The role is hybrid in the NYC area with remote options; equity and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and shipping consumer products across web and native mobile.
• Portfolio demonstrates impeccable taste, systems thinking, and end-to-end design.
• Experience leading complex product work in close partnership with product, engineering, and design leadership.
• Experience shaping ambiguous, strategic problem spaces and driving clarity through design.
• Experience designing AI products, or a clear point of view on how to.

About The Opportunity

The Wonder AI team works at the forefront of food and AI. We're building two new consumer products. Wonder Create lets anyone launch a restaurant from a prompt, produced in Wonder's robotic kitchens and sold on Wonder and Grubhub. The second is an unannounced AI product that plans and manages what people eat every day.

Both are 0 to 1, and both are built for creators, home cooks, and families. The job is to make frontier AI feel obvious, and to make it beautiful.

You’ll report to the VP of Design for the Wonder AI team and work directly with them on both products.

The Impact You Will Make

What You Bring To The Table

• 5+ years designing and shipping consumer products across web and native mobile, including iOS and Android
• A portfolio that shows impeccable taste, systems thinking, and end-to-end design
• The instinct to make decisions without waiting to be asked and to think on your feet under pressure
• Experience leading complex product work in close partnership with product, engineering, and design leadership
• Experience shaping ambiguous, strategic problem spaces and driving clarity through design
• A track record of influencing cross-functional teams and product direction through clear storytelling
• The ability to move fluidly between big-picture thinking and interaction-level craft
• Experience designing AI products, or a clear point of view on how to
• The ability to prototype in code, or the drive to learn how to

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome and encouraged to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you. We will also consider remote candidates for this role.
