As a Staff Product Designer, you will apply systems thinking to design end-to-end, platform-level workflows, ensuring technical data operations are faster, more precise, and highly scalable for diverse user roles. In this position, you will be instrumental in designing the workflows and systems for data content, managing how molecular and clinical data is ingested, curated, structured, and distributed to downstream users and dependent applications. A key consumer of this data ecosystem is Tempus' AI-enabled Next platform, where you will also contribute, ensuring that clinical users receive the precise data they need to deliver the next guideline-based step in a patient's care journey. Across both areas, you will work closely with leadership, product, engineering, and other stakeholders to shape a technology-forward business strategy, aligning cross-functional partners and building trust through communication that simplifies ideas and anchors teams toward a direction. As a leader, you are expected to drive the end-to-end vision of your design solutions, taking full accountability for their impact while ensuring they meet our design standards and are rigorously validated by research. You regularly participate in design feedback, stakeholder management, and prioritization of work.
