Electric Hydrogen is seeking a Staff Power Systems Engineer to develop specifications for power systems integration with the utility grid. This role involves managing electrical installation design, conducting power systems analysis, and mentoring engineers. We are seeking a Staff Power Systems Engineer to develop connection specifications between the Electric Hydrogen power system and the medium voltage utility grid. This role involves managing all aspects of electrical installation design, including reviewing third-party EPC designs and conducting internal designs. The engineer will perform power systems analysis using modeling and simulation software to evaluate system characteristics such as load, power flows, short circuit analysis, transient stability, and operational stability with active linear loads.
This position is onsite in San Jose, CA and reports to the Director, Power Platform.
Compensation ranges from $168,000 to $224,000 USD, with additional benefits including equity, time off, allowances, retirement matching, comprehensive health coverage, and bonuses. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
