Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; PE preferred.
• 5–10 years of transmission experience in power systems.
• Strong knowledge of P&C design concepts and protective relay settings.
• Experience with ASPEN/CAPE/CYME/ETAP/SKM and relay calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop protective relay settings for lines, transformers, breakers, and buses.
• Perform relay setting calculations and create setting files.
• Support P&C design with diagrams and wiring.
• Model and analyze power systems using industry software.
• Apply protection schemes for transmission, distribution and renewables.
• Use Mathcad and Excel for relay calculations and documentation.
• Configure DNP/SEL/MMS/Modbus communications and IEC 61850.
• Lead small projects with schedule, budget, and staffing oversight.
