Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Nexus to own the next phase of Temporal Nexus: landing the current product foundation, expanding adoption across strategic accounts, and defining the roadmap for Nexus as Temporal’s durable connectivity layer. You will take over a technically deep product area with real customer usage and a fast-moving roadmap.

You’ll build trust with engineering, customers, field teams, and GTM; turn customer evidence into sequencing decisions; and

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management or equivalent.
• Strong technical depth covering distributed systems, APIs, and identity.
• Developer-platform experience with infrastructure, APIs, SDKs, or cloud developer tools.
• Customer and field orientation, working with senior technical customers and GTM teams.
• Excellent writing and narrative skills for strategy docs and roadmaps.
• Execution discipline to own a complex roadmap and driving decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own Nexus product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing work across teams and AI systems.
• Drive completion of in-flight work: Nexus developer experience, operations, connector foundations, caller identity, rate limits, encryption.
• Maintain close customer discovery with strategic partners like Netflix, Duolingo, Miro.
• Balance SDK ergonomics, contracts, codegen, service discovery, security, visibility, control-plane needs.
• Enable cross-functional launches and ensure company-wide understanding of Nexus problems and launches.
• Define adoption metrics: activated accounts, Nexus operations, design-partner progress, SDK coverage.
