Job summary

General Motors (GM) is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the next-generation in-vehicle experience (IVX) in Warren, MI. You will lead platform-level UI and cross-program experiences, partnering with design, engineering, and vehicle teams to deliver cohesive, multi-display experiences across hardware and software.

The role blends platform strategy with hands-on delivery, requiring strong PM craft, cross-functional leadership, and a passion for automotive UX across vehicle programs.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of product management experience leading large-scale software or automotive-related products.
• Experience across the full PM stack: vision, roadmap, requirements, prioritization, delivery.
• Platform-level / multi-surface experience spanning displays and interaction surfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to connect platform capabilities to complete customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the platform product direction for core in-vehicle UI and shared experiences across programs.
• Represent the end-to-end in-vehicle experience in partnership with vehicle programs to ensure hardware and software integration.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and program management to align roadmaps and execution across multiple surfaces and vehicle programs.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and manage risks across platform, software, and vehicle dependencies.
