Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior Product Manager for the 3P Ecosystem, Occupant Experience, to define and deliver custom GM infotainment app experiences in partnership with third-party companies. You will own the roadmap and execution for in-vehicle apps across entertainment, streaming, video, and productivity.

You’ll collaborate across engineering, design, QA, PMO, and business development to align stakeholders, translate customer expectations, and drive a growing 3P ecosystem within GM vehicles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience delivering digital or software-enabled products.
• Experience leading cross-functional execution across engineering and business stakeholders.
• Experience working with external partners, platforms, or ecosystem-like product spaces.
• Ability to define product direction, translate complex constraints into clear decisions, and balance near-term execution with longer-term roadmap needs.
• Strong written communication skills, including product narratives, requirements, and partner-facing materials.

Responsibilities

• Drive and own the execution for custom GM third-party app experiences, leading initiatives from concept through launch and post-launch iteration.
• Define product vision, strategy, requirements, and roadmap for in-vehicle app experiences across categories like entertainment, streaming, video, and productivity.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, QA, PMO, business development, and external partners to align stakeholders and deliver launches.
• Collaborate with peer product teams to understand vehicle hardware/software capabilities and shape app experiences for in-vehicle use.
• Use data, customer insights, and market understanding to evaluate performance and inform next steps.
• Communicate priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations clearly to influence adjacent teams and partnerships.
