Job summary

Fivetran in Oakland, CA is seeking a Product Manager to own the Databases portfolio, driving end-to-end roadmaps for source and destination connectors. You’ll translate customer needs into actionable specs, partner with engineering on replication, CDC, and schema handling, and collaborate with sales and leadership to align investments with ARR and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on data infrastructure.
• Comfort operating at technical depth (schema design, replication mechanics, CDC) and business altitude (ARR, TAM).
• Proven track record owning outcomes for complex, engineering-heavy roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact opportunities for new database source/destination connectors.
• Partner with engineering leadership on platform features for reliable, scalable data capture and loading.
• Write and evangelize PRDs translating signals into engineering specs.
• Own roadmaps end-to-end: discovery, prioritization, spec, build, launch, post-launch iteration.
• Deeply analyze market and customer data to drive evidence-based investments.
• Engage with customers, prospects, and field teams to validate problems and de-risk investments.
• Represent the Databases product area in cross-functional planning.
