Job summary

Hercules is seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager to own the AI coding agent. Hybrid role based in San Francisco with North America remote options, reporting to Product. You will shape the context, prompts, tools, memory, and eval pipelines to push accuracy and efficiency.

You will design system prompts, harness components, and evaluation strategies, collaborating with engineering on implementation and product sense for customers.

Qualifications

• You are technically proficient and can code; you understand system design, architecture, data modeling, and API design.
• You have strong product intuition for customer goals and novel solutions.
• You have a track record of building simple, delightful UX/UI.
• You bring deep knowledge of AI context and harness engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of Hercules' AI coding agent context and harness system.
• Lead online and offline evals to improve the agent's performance.
• Leverage 100k+ users, 200k+ code repos, and millions of chats for experimentation.
• Own core stack choices and integration with tools and memory.
