GE Aerospace is seeking a Staff Infrastructure & Platform Engineer in a remote-capable role based in the United States. The engineer builds and operates the paved road platform, including the pipeline, shared services, and environments, ensuring reliability for product teams.

The role emphasizes building to standards, expanding coverage, and growing ownership over time, with measurable impact on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Strong emphasis on CI/CD, IaC, containers, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (4+ years).
• Experience in Infrastructure & Platform Engineering or IT (3+ years).
• Military experience counts as professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features of the golden-path pipeline, shared services and environments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code for provisioning and environment management.
• Participate in monitoring, alerting and on-call rotation; respond to incidents.
• Help meet service-level objectives for platform services and reliability.
• Onboard product teams to the paved road and maintain technical documentation.
