Job summary

Synopsys is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and operate scalable, secure IT platforms across products and services. You will drive reliability, automation, and observability in complex, distributed systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proven ability to design and operate reliable, scalable, secure service architectures.
Hands-on experience with Linux, networking, distributed systems, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve core business application platforms from concept through production.
Partner with IT teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver features with reliability.
Build, deploy, and operate containerized services on Kubernetes with automation and safe rollouts.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines enforcing security standards and predictable releases.
Implement observability to support proactive monitoring and rapid incident response.
Develop AI-assisted operational workflows to reduce manual intervention while keeping humans in control.
