Job summary

Wispr is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to help scale our Flow product's infrastructure. You will architect and own major platform components, improving latency and developer experience for engineers across the org. The role combines hands-on coding with strategic system design and cross-functional collaboration.

The position supports on-site presence in San Francisco with remote options for most US-based candidates. Visa sponsorship and relocation benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable platform services and APIs.
• Ability to reduce latency and improve developer experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build the seam between product and ML: credentials, proxy, routing, experimentation.
• Identify scaling bottlenecks ahead of time and fix them.
• Architect and own platform components end-to-end.
• Improve developer experience and deployment speed.
