Job summary

Zus Health is seeking a Staff Engineer for the platform team to build core data services that process, store, and deliver health records at scale. You will work with AWS services like Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, and others, building RESTful and GraphQL APIs, primarily in Go.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers, provide technical leadership, and coach others. The role offers a hybrid schedule in the Boston metro area or remote EST/CST with occasional travel for in-person

Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale cloud systems in Go.
• Experience with healthcare data and APIs.
• Familiarity with FHIR and TEFCA standards.
• Proven ability to deliver production-grade services.
• Hybrid/in-person collaboration in Boston area or willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate data services and APIs at scale.

• Provide technical leadership across architecture and design.
