Job summary

Saviynt, a leader in identity security, seeks a Staff Platform Engineer to keep our cloud-native SaaS platform highly available, scalable, and secure as we grow.

You will own shared infrastructure, build reusable platform components, run Kubernetes as a service, develop Go tooling, and shape multi-region, event-driven architectures with Kafka, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and observability across metrics and traces.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable shared infrastructure services for engineering teams.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise in production environments as a platform solution.
• Proficient in Go and Python for backend services and automation.
• Hands-on cloud experience across AWS/Azure/GCP and multi-cloud patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain shared infrastructure services used by product and application teams.
• Create reusable, reliable, and scalable platform components to reduce complexity for other teams.
• Architect, implement, and manage Kubernetes platforms as a service for internal consumers.
• Develop internal tooling and automation using Go with a focus on reliability.
• Design and optimize cloud patterns in AWS/Azure/GCP and multi-region setups.
• Implement and evolve Event-Driven Architecture with Kafka or Pub/Sub as shared services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, ArgoCD) as a service for multiple teams.
• Build resilient distributed systems with fault tolerance and high performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical infrastructure.
