Job summary

Saviynt seeks a Staff Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, cloud-native infrastructure services. You will own reliability for platform domains, drive automation, and deliver reusable components across teams in multi‑cloud environments.

You will create Kubernetes as a service, develop internal tools with Go, and help implement event-driven architectures and robust CI/CD pipelines to support product development at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Eng, or related field.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Proficiency in Go and Python for backend services and automation.
• Extensive cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) with multi‑cloud abstractions.
• Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling, especially GitLab CI, for automated delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain shared infrastructure services and platforms used by product teams.
• Create reusable, reliable, and scalable platform components across multi-cloud environments.
• Architect and manage highly available Kubernetes platforms as a service for internal consumers.
• Develop internal tooling and automation for infrastructure provisioning using Go.
• Build and optimize cloud infrastructure patterns and modules for reuse by teams.
• Design and implement shared Event‑Driven Architecture components and messaging (Kafka, etc.).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines as a service (GitLab CI, ArgoCD optional).
• Design distributed systems components focusing on reliability and performance.
• Manage shared infrastructure across multi‑region cloud environments for global availability.
• Establish observability and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
