Job summary

Rec Technologies seeks a Platform Designer to own the design of Rec's platform end-to-end, spanning programs, facilities, memberships, and payments. You will transform ambiguous operational problems into simple, coherent flows for rec centers, leagues, and facilities, while ensuring consistency across a multi-object system.

The role requires defining v1 scope, shipping iterations with a bias toward delivery, and leveraging AI tools in prototyping, research synthesis, and copy generation.

Qualifications

• Strong systems thinking for complex multi-object domains.
• Proven track record of owning features end-to-end from problem to shipped product.
• Comfort operating without a detailed spec and defining the right scope.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end: research, define IA, create high-fidelity specs, and guide through QA.
• Maintain a coherent platform model across programs, facilities, memberships, and payments.
• Turn fuzzy problems into a scoped v1 and justify what’s in/out.
