Job summary

Investigo in San Francisco is seeking a Staff Platform and Reliability Engineer with 5-10 years of experience. This is a hands-on senior IC role responsible for owning the reliability, security, and observability layers as the platform scales across 100+ banks and credit unions.

You will engage early in infrastructure and delivery pipelines to fix issues, improve uptime and deployment speed while maintaining security, own SLOs and incident response, and produce compliance evidence including SOC

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a platform/SRE engineer.
• Hands-on with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with IaC, GitOps and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Engage early in infrastructure and delivery pipelines to ensure proper fixes.
• Identify and close reliability and delivery gaps.
• Improve uptime and deployment speed while maintaining security.
• Own SLOs, incident response, observability, and disaster recovery.

Job Title: Staff Platform and Reliability Engineer

About the Role:

A leading agentic AI platform serving 100+ banks and credit unions is seeking a Staff Platform and Reliability Engineer with 5-10 years of experience. This is a hands-on, senior IC role responsible for owning the reliability and security layer as the company scales. Key responsibilities include:

• Engaging early in infrastructure and delivery pipelines to ensure proper fixes
• Identifying and closing reliability and delivery gaps
• Improving uptime and deployment speed while maintaining security
• Owning SLOs, incident response, observability, and disaster recovery (targeting 99.99% uptime)
• Securing AWS/Kubernetes platform and producing compliance evidence (SOC 2, NCUA/FFIEC, GLBA)

Requirements:

• 5 years as a platform engineer or site reliability engineer
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, TypeScript, Python, Bash
