Zusammenfassung

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a qualified physician to provide direct primary care to veterans in an outpatient clinic. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, coordinate care, and contribute to population health and quality initiatives as part of a teaching environment.

Applicants should hold an MD/DO with an unrestricted license, be proficient in English, and have residency training in an approved core specialty; women’s health experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. Citizenship required; non-citizens only when VA policy allows.
• MD/DO degree from a school approved by VA for the year completed.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the U.S. (or DC).
• Residency training in an ACGME/AOA approved core specialty or equivalent.
• Board eligibility or certification as applicable; faculty roles may require certification.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; strong patient care skills.

• Provide direct patient care to veterans in an outpatient primary care setting.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care and referrals.
• Engage in population health management and quality improvement projects.
• Participate in teaching and clinical mentoring as applicable.
• Adhere to VA performance, documentation, and safety standards.
