University of Miami seeks a part-time staff physician to provide uniform guidelines for Saturday daytime CT imaging support at UMHC/SCCC. The role involves selecting eligible out-patients for CT studies and coordinating with radiology teams.
The volunteer faculty radiologist will answer questions, supervise contrast administration, manage mild/moderate reactions with nursing support and physician orders, and ensure proper discharge instructions.
To provide uniform guidelines for coordinated support for Out-patient undergoing CT Imaging studies at UMHC/SCCC for Saturday daytime coverage.
Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatments Effective verbal and written communication skills along with proper telephone etiquette Performs in tactful and professional manner.
M.D. degree. Physician license required.
