Our growing Division of Hematology/Oncology and Penn State Cancer Institute, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is inviting applications for a faculty position on either tenure or non-tenure track at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in division with focus on solid tumor oncology ? especially melanoma/cutaneous malignancies and sarcoma. The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong expertise and track record in clinical care, translational and clinical investigations in the areas of melanoma/cutaneous malignancies and sarcoma. The level of faculty appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience and training. Successful candidates will have a commitment to building an academic research-centric program within the Cancer Institute. The Penn State Cancer Institute is a CoC-accredited and ACR accredited cancer program. It is the only comprehensive cancer center in central PA and provides a robust infrastructure for clinical trials and translational research facilities.

Job requirements for this position include:

  • Medical Degree- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited residency and hematology/oncology fellowship program
  • Eligible for licensure for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Board certification/eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
  • Clinical research background
