Overview

The Staff Physical Therapist helps patients who have problems with their muscles and movement. This can include issues from injuries or medical conditions that affect how strong they are, how far they can move, and their overall ability to do daily activities. The Staff Physical Therapist uses exercises, treatments, and special activities to help patients improve their strength and function as much as possible.

Essential Qualifications

• You must have completed a program that is approved by the American Physical Therapy Association and have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• You need to have a current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professions.

Certification Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association (AHA).

State License Requirements

• You must be licensed in New Hampshire.
