Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist specializing in sterile compounding to join our home infusion team in Tulsa, OK. This full-time, temporary position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in home infusion or inpatient hospital settings. While prior sterile compounding experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates without this background.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and compound sterile intravenous (IV) medications for home infusion patients.
  • Verify and review medication orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
  • Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through safe and effective medication use.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication logs.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted Oklahoma Pharmacist License.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in home infusion or inpatient hospital settings.
  • Sterile compounding experience is preferred; candidates without this experience will be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
