Job description

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Staff Pharmacist in Southgate, Kentucky. This is a 13-week Temporary to Permanent onsite role Pharmacist. The pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.

Position details:
Location: Southgate, Kentucky
Setting: 13-week Temporary to Permanent Pharmacist
Schedule: 1st, Monday Friday with 1 weekend a month
Hours: 7:00am 3:00pm, 8:00am 4:00pm, or 9:00am 5:00pm. Pharmacists here typically scheduled to work the closing shift (11:00am 7:00pm) only once per week
Weekend hours: Saturday 7:00am 3:30pm, Sunday 11:00am 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation
Interact with physicians and utilize reference material to gain information on customers and prescriptions and to resolve any issues that arise

Note: These roles are split between two departments one focused on data entry verification (desk-based) and the other on product verification (on-your-feet), though sitting is permitted whenever possible.

Requirements:
Clear and active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky
1+ year pharmacy experience, retail or mail order preferred
