Job Purpose and Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting pharmacy operations, and leading by example. Your responsibilities include managing patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, immunizations, supporting pharmacy team performance, ensuring compliance, and providing clinical services where permissible.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Managing and improving patient health outcomes through safe dispensing and counseling
  • Supporting pharmacy performance and team leadership in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
  • Ensuring safe prescription fulfillment and compliance with regulations
  • Providing compassionate patient care and resolving medication or insurance issues
  • Administering immunizations and supporting team learning
  • Managing inventory, especially cold chain products
  • Maintaining compliance with legal and company standards
  • Supporting pharmacy operations and scheduling
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and clinical services
Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist License in the state of employment
  • Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Additional Requirements
  • Regular attendance, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to complete required training
  • Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of related experience in pharmacy or customer service
