This role is contingent upon regulatory approvals and the completion of CVS’s acquisition of Rite Aid assets.

Job Purpose and Summary

Our Staff Pharmacists are vital in delivering exceptional pharmacy services, acting as role models, and demonstrating genuine care for patients. They support the Pharmacy Manager in leading the pharmacy team and managing all aspects of pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
  • Supporting pharmacy performance and team coaching.
  • Assuming Pharmacy Manager duties when necessary.
  • Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
  • Providing compassionate patient care and resolving medication issues.
  • Offering immunizations and supporting pharmacy inventory management.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Maintaining clinical skills and supporting expanded patient care services.
Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist License in the state.
  • Active NPI number.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
Additional Requirements
  • Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to complete required training.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform pharmacy duties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Flexibility to work at various locations.

Weekly hours: 40. Time type: Full-time. Pay range: To be determined based on experience and location.
